Introducing my latest cookbook:  The Complete Plant-Based Diet: A Guide and Cookbook to Enjoy Eating More Plants!

I feel like this book - my eighth - is somewhat of a community project. Since March I've been mostly staying at home - just like you - during the pandemic. I started offering weekly cooking classes and you were right there with me cooking, watching (or drinking 🍺) along. During that time my publisher reached out to see if I had some ideas around a new cookbook and if I had time to write one.

And so while we were cooking together weekly, I was in the kitchen working on recipes that I hoped would appeal to all kinds of people. See, many in the vegan space don't think of me as "plant-based" ... and that's okay. I don't either. I always say that I'm a noun and that noun is vegan. But I do eat plants, obviously, and plant-based is an adjective that absolutely does describe a way in which I eat. Though over the years the term "plant-based" has morphed into something almost unrecognizable - I mean there are meat companies calling new products "plant-based" because they added vegetables to animal flesh. WHAT?! - yet it's quite uncomplicated. Plant-based eating simply means consuming vegetables, fruit, legumes & beans, grains, and nuts & seeds.

In this book, we'll stick to the basics with ZERO dogma, no judgment about diets, and just good old fashioned cooking up the five vegan food groups.
